How often are you getting it all in preflop 6 max with A,K?

I see the most standard play with A,K is to be willing to get it all-in at all levels of poker at 6max. Is this the correct mindset at most times? I've folded A,K in the past when 3 bet by a tight player but now I'm wondering if I should of pushed preflop.For some reason I put him on Aces or Kings... just based on his tight image. I'm guessing someone like that should be playing any higher pair like that so should I of shipped even if you know you're up agaisn't some sort of pair be it queens or lower?

So even if you know you're up agaisnt any pair (Queens and lower) and you hold A,K is it a profitable move to ship with your two overcards?

I'm saying this because the amount of times you get it all in with Queens or any pair for that matter and someone is holding A,K they do tend to spike one most of the time. I obviously will remember this more often than not but what exactly are the odds and is it +EV or not?

In VERY general terms, it can be b/c of fold equity and dead money, but you're still talking about very thin margins that could take hundreds of thousands of hands to show profit and you need to be the aggressor...calling a shove with AK, especially in multi way pots is usually a bad move. This is all relative to villain type, position etc. I fold AK often in 6 max, multi way 3 bet+ pots against tight players.
