how much do you bet?
I play holdem often. The one consistant problem i seem to have is how much to bet. Of course there are hundreds of variables, each hand is unique. But a guideline has to exist. My biggest concern is the ammount WHEN OUT OF POSITION. Too little and the rag masters pounce.Too much & a bad beat or poor flop can cripple you. What % do you use? % of your stack? % of blinds? % of avg table staCK? Most all my poker blunders can be traced back to poor bet ammount chosen preflop when out of position. Im a conservative player, any body got any helpful tips?

Hi Seeker
I think you should read Doyle Brunsons book Super System 2 or The complete Book of Hold´Em Poker by Gary Carson They both have sections about betting when out of position and are both a good read. Sincerely Shuang |
