How to keep a bankroll ??

Hi guys, heres my situation,

I'm playing since 4-5 months now on ultimatebet.com

I'm a good player I won 568.60 $ at 5$+.50 450 players and got a lot of freeroll top 20...

Now I cant keep a bankroll.. I withdraw my 500$ and keep 70$ to play.. lose it all after like 30 hours of playing ... maybe I play on too high stake table ?

Now I want to do it seriously... how can I do that?... deposit 25$ at a time and play heads up or deposit 100$ and did 5$ tourneys or 5$ 1$ sit and go? I mean if I have 100$ what is the higest stakes table I can play in .25 .50 or 2/4 ???

Tanks for the help guys

sorry for my bad english I hope you understand....

Advice for you

I have learned this through experience at Ultimatebet. The .01/.02 and .05/.10NL tables are simply not worth playing at Ultimatebet. There are way too many wackos, loose players who think they are gods and well just dumb luck for anyone to do anything good there. My advice for Ultimatebet would be to deposit something like 70-75 or more and start at the .10/.25 NL tables and maybe some low limit tourneys.

The same thing seems to apply at tigergaming.com where I usually play. For the longest time I only had like 60-70 dollars. I started to play the .10/.25 NL tables and started to see my good play being rewarded more consistently than I ever did at the lower limits.

Sounds like you are good at tourneys. Try just playing in one or two freezeouts a day.

Biggest mistake people make is playing at too high a limit for their bankroll..... I keep my bankroll in Neteller and just deposit as needed. I see no reason to keep it all in a poker site account. I have had issues with some sites because they of course want me to keep the funds with but that's not the way I am. That is just me though plus being in the states I have to be very careful anyways.

The quickest way to lose your money is to play heads up. You lose a $5 heads up, you move up to £10 to get it back. You lose that, then up to $20...very bad downward spriral. Stick to the low freezeouts, where you seem to have been succesful, they are far more rewarding and if you lose, it costs $5 for a few hours play

Good luck m8 and well played so far

Bankroll does not equal Online Bankroll.

I play 50-200 NL ring games, and never like more than 1k in my account.

Now it would be ridiculous to play 200 NL consistantly with only a 1k bankroll, but that doesn't account that if I lose it, I will deposit more.

The very best way to keep a bankroll is to invest it in a money market account. Poker is not condusive to keeping a bankroll.
If you must play poker, always try to get as much money in the pot when you have a better hand than every one esle's. LOL just having fun with it. Although, this could be sage advice for some.
