How do you play King queen, queen jack, or king jack?

In early position these are usually folding hands. During the early game of a tournament with 9 players, in what position do you start playing these hands? I usually limp with KQ suited in middle position, limp with king jack suited in MP, limp with qj suited in MP. I'll fold unsuited king jack or queen jack in MP. In late position I'll raise with all these hands.

How do you play KQ, KJ, and QJ?

I close my eyes and....fold, call or raise It depends, I'm not even sure on what. I know any choice I make can help or hurt.

Sure that's the standard line on these hands, but you risk being too predictable. I kinda roll a little wheel in my head and go with what feels right at the moment.

I do know my wheel works best when MOST of the spaces are RAISE or FOLD. Not a lot of CALLS on that wheel.

if i am in good position i will make a small raise with king queen on suit.

I like all of these hands but it relly depends on my table, I normally try to find quite tight tables to play at so i will raise with these hands and get only calls or folds, Currently QK and J10 (not on your list) seem to be making me the most money on average out of any of my hands

I never limp with them unless I'm incredibly priced in where I can treat them as suited connectors.

U can get in no deeper trouble thn with these hands kq flop comes k high u know akis out they r hands to be very wary of.

If they r making the most money for u thn u lucky. currently ak is my greatest moneymaker

I play AK, AQ and sometimes AJ just b/c they make a great profit from ppl overplaying mediocre hands like KQ or a trash like KJ. Have a good read on them and you have their stack.

At the begining of a 9 person SNG I for the most part am folding these hands. Once I get a read on the table I'll know when I can play them. I'm in no hurry when the blinds are low. But everyone plays differant.

Fold Eary, Call Mid, Raise Late.

I will add that in late position with a lot of callers, I just call. I need to get away from this, because it usually just succeeds in getting me in trouble.

If you hit top pair with one of these cards, you can end up being waaay behind.

Here is what I do with these hands in a *Ring* game:

KJs/KQs=Raise from any position.
KQo/QJs=Call from early position, Raise from middle & late position.
KJo/QJo=Fold from early position, Call from middle & late position.

Unless you have incentive to steal (like a tourney with high blinds), I wouldn't play them except from late position. I think of it this way. These aren't good hands at a full table, because they're often dominated (KQ is maybe ok, but I'd draw the line there). However, if you were playing 4-handed or 3-handed, these hands would be pretty strong. So if you wait for all the players in front of you to fold, and you're in the cutoff, all of a sudden, KJ isn't so bad. I'd play it for a raise, because you get the betting lead and position after the flop, AND it looks like a steal so dominated hands will call you.
