How do you play Aces? Short stacked you go all in. If you have a monstrous amount of chips what do you do? Id limp in and trap which most of the time doesnt work. Just use absolute aggression. Make it look like you are stealing the blinds. If you only raise 4x the blind preflop with aces and get reraised do you just smooth call or do you reraise all in? Everyone, Please let me know how you play Aces.

you should play aces very aggresive... best situation is when you are at late pos.. then you can do a huge reraise.. if you are early pos.. don't go all in.. even if you are short stacked.. you want some1 to call ur bet... but you don't want more than 2 callers.. cuz you can lose with aces too you know so if you raise and get reraised by big ammount( about 50% of his chips) then you should reraise putting him all in or going all in by urself... but if its not very big raise.. you should reraise him.. 3 times his raise.. thats what i do.. and its works for me good...

No more slowplayin for me... With pocket Aces, I used to slowplay and then go big on the river. Id let my oponent bet every round until the river. But I started losing a lot with AA because I was letting others catch cards they needed by only calling their bets. So I now if I'm short satcked I'm all in or I'll come out with a big or small raise preflop depending on whos in and how much I have.

Eight out of ten times I go all in pre flop with aces. There is nothing worse than limping in and havingsome jerk beat you with something like 6 9. If I am going to get sucked out on, I am going to make them pay to do it. Most of the times that I try to trap I regret it.

I agree that slowplaying may give too many people an opportunity to make their draw. I think playing them aggressively is definitly the way to go. But that doesn't mean you won't get beat. There have been quite a few times I've been all-in with Aces and been beat by lower cards. After all, there's still an element of luck!

pocket aces short-stacked (cca 3-6x the blinds/antes), i'd go all-in regardless of anything. mid-stacked (cca 10x blinds/antes), i'd raise 3-5xBB, hoping to attract 1-2 opponents into the pot, varying the raise amt for previously observed table behavior. large-stacked, i'd still raise 3-5xBB, as above. bottom line, with big pocket pairs, i'd ideally want no more than 2 opponents going into the pot with me, as statistically i'm worse off the more ppl are in. (insert your favorite bad beat stories here. lol)

re: How do you play Aces? poker A lot depends on the situation in a trny a NL trny I usually play them very aggressively at least half my stack preflop, or at least three times the BB; in a limit trny lead bet all the way, in a limit money game i call all unless every checks then i bet. In a money NL game i play moderately aggresive b4 the flop and wait and see. But this is just my personal style every1 is different, but i get rivered much more often in a low limit game than in a NL game. AA is good for a small win or a big loss.

early poss i like to value bet aces 4-6x BB forces smaller stacks with inferior hands to mske a uncomfortable decision alot of players will to either move in or call away a substatial portion of there stack. in l8 posision no limpers 2-4x BB Raise is good 2 or more limpers and l8 poss 5x BB bet u dot want more than 1 mayb 2 players to se a flop
