| How do you analyze your play? The backstory. Lately I shift between games depending on what plays well for me. I was having a lot of fun playing heads up SnGs for a while, but am now in the midst of a downswing there. I'd like to analyze my play and am coming up empty at a process for doing it. Start at the big hands? In HU play, the little hands seem to matter a lot, too. Obviously, if I have specific hands I can't figure out on my own, I can post them in the tournament analysis thread, but there are 1,800+ of them. I should probably get SnG wiz, but honestly, it's $90 and I'm not doing that until I withdraw money. I could write my own, but if I'm going to do that, I want it to take a deeper look than just shove/fold. Any thoughts? Pointers to HU specific resources I may not have noticed? Thanks in advance! | The best thing I've tried is hand review and pokerstoving some of those hands to see if you made good decisions. You could start with your big loosing and big winning hands. Like you said though the smaller hands can make a huge difference too. If you have the time go back over all of your hands and replay them a while later while you have stepped away from the table. Posting hands up here is a BIG help also |
