How to deal with people who constantly go all in

How do you deal with people that go all in pre-flop on every round. This happens lots on the small values tables and annoys the crap out of me, and what annoys me the most is that they usually end up winning... What I have been doing is waiting for some good cards and then calling them, but this usually ends up in me loosing, or loosing so much in blinds waiting for the good cards that i run out of chips.

I start playing super-defensive after they go all-in 3 consecutive times, where usually you never see what they have and its probably nothing... or I fight their fight if I have something that looks good, but then it's 50-50... are you willing to risk it? otherwise leave... there's no fun in just gambling with these types of people.

The best thing to do with a manic is wait. The other solution is leave. There is always a better game somewhere else. One other method that i have tried is get the seat option get position on him and raise before he can. Sometimes this method works and he will stop. Just keep in mind you can go in with J10s against a random hand this is better then 50 50.

Lastly what is the reason why your playing poker. If its for fun stay and ride it out. But if your trying to make money its best to go somewhere else with better odds with no huge gambles.

I love people like that! I just wait for a good hand and take my chances, which are generally good against a random hand.

Why would you want to leave when someone is giving money away?

Maybe if you start getting tilted or something it's justifiable, but that leads to the question why get tilted when someone is giving money away?

Go all in before he/she is , no, the best way to deal with those guys is waiting. 2-8 rounds they always lose their chips. When i see a guy playing all in with all hands, i just go to fridge and see what it got to offer :P

People like that can teach you alot about hand selection and position. A good example would be if your in first position and you have k j suited. Right about then is a good time to realize that even if you bet or just call, the odds of him going all in are still very high. Especially considering his past play if he really is going all in every hand, and that on top of it you dont know if someone is gonna have a super premium hand and call. When that happens you can kiss your bet or call goodbye. In another example if he has been doing that every hand and you have k j suited on the button when he does that with no callers <or better yet if you are the big blind with no callers>, depending on your stack in relation to him I think it's an easy call. I'm also taking into account the limits your talking about. If you are in a limit you don't feel comfortable taking that risk, then I would also suggest that maybe you are playing out of your bankroll.
PS... Whether you take their money or lose your own, always be nice and say NH. Berating people can only make them or other people about to go on tilt themselves play better. PLUS allowing yourself to be angry can only lead to putting YOURSELF at risk of tilting.

If you can jump up in tables, You'd be amazed how the play gets better as you move up in table limit's. If you run into this at the higher level's and your not comfortable leave, but usually these people bust out soon, sit back and watch, If the all in guy double's or triples up they usually leave,( the hit and run).

You gotta have the goods against these kinds of players.

depends on how many... if he's just an idiot in a low stakes tourney or micro-rings I've called with J7o just to show what little respect I have for his game... luckily my reads are fairly accurate...

If I`m playing against a person like this I do one of two things...

1. If he has position on me I have to accept while the person is playing like this if I put in any kind of call or bet in I`m gonna have to be prepared to go all in with it. So, for example, if I get A10s in middle position, and this guy is to act after me, I would not call to see a cheap flop. So, with this scenario, its a question of saving chips until u get the big one.
2. If I have position on the guy, he goes all in for the 5/6/7 th time in a row, I`m in middle to late position, I`m all in with AJ + or any pair over 88. U have to accept the guy might turn over a monster or his Ace small might catch.

The ultimate, however, is to get AA/ KK/ AK and probably QQ UTG. call. When he raises then go all in - unless he has real crap he will call.

I wait for good cards,call and get bad beated on the river,lol.

I have to agree with the other posters.. it's a waiting game... especially when you get 2 or 3 people pullin this all-in garbage. Sit back and wait and eventually the chip all come sliding away from those maniacs and into your stack.

I think that you guys may be wrong on patience. Listen to me for a second.

If this douche is going all-in preflop every hand, then the thing to do is to call him down with any better-than-adverage hand. Treat him like one of the blinds, because, essentially, thats what he's doing if he is going all-in every hand. Betting blind. So wait for a bit for A-7 suited, or K-10. These will beat him at least 600 times out of 1000.

I would wait a good hand before I'd call one of his all-ins.

I would definitely wait for a really good hand, because you really don't want to call him & only be a 60-40 favorite about. Wait for a PREMIUM HAND & then you'll have a lot better chance of getting all their chips. Also, if you act last you'll have a much better chance, because the person won't have the option of folding their mediocre all-in hand...good luck with your next battle against the ALL-INERS! -haha

I sort of agree with this. Although I would not go as low as A7 or K10, AJ is a definate if the wild guy is the only other in the pot. Any pair 88+ and possibly KQ - the only problem with KQ is if the guy has Ax u r behind.

IMO, if you wait for a premium hand you could be out of the game when it comes.
