Holdem tip for all of u!!!

Hi guys.

This might be a first but I`m posting this as a tip to others, rather than asking for help!!! This is probably aimed at the newer players. Its an area I`m just starting to get to grips with myself.

Its simple - when at the table, don`t get into a `heads up battle` with another player.

What I mean is, and we have all been there, u r at a table and there is one guy thats always raising and winning pots. The more he does it the more u start to think "I`m gonna get him"

You end up in a situation that your game becomes more focused on that person. U get AA, u limp, he bloody folds . U get KK, u raise, he calls, flop A47 rainbow. U bet, he reraises "I`m not gonna let him push me around" so u reraise, he pushes again, u lose it, go all in an what does he show, u guessed it, 2 pair, aces and 7`s !!!

The point I`m making is related to tilt. If a person at your table is playing like that, u r better off not getting involved with him unless u know u have him beat, then slow play him.

Don`t move your focus from your game and the overall game to the guy u r up against. It is not up to u to fight that guy on behalf of the other players

Hope I`m not sounding patronising, but I wanted to share this as I have started to come to terms with it recently, and my results have benefited

good advice... I'm usually the aggressive donk that people try to "beat" and I get lucky sometimes, lose sometimes, but always have fun being that donk who isn't only calculating pot odds and playing "smart"... I feel the game is about more than being a math whiz... If you put enough into the pot, the pot odds are bad for someone calling you unless they have the "nuts" which is damned hard P/F...
I am superdonk, come to think of it, and proud of it!
