Heads Up skill Level

Does anyone else play a lot of heads up sit n gos? At what level does the skill start to change? There are $2,$5,$6,$10.......if any one has experience with this....thanks

I have played the $2 and $5 HU SNGs ... and I'd say most people play rather passively. Occasionally I'd play against someone that knew what they were doing but for the most part it's very bad play at those two levels.

Remember just stay aggressive and pretty much raise all button hands. Then go go go fire away

What site are we talking about? I have played many sit n gos on Full Tilt, and mostly turbos. I agree with icemonkey9, most people just play very scared at the 2$ and 6$ level, they make very obvious moves and its fairly easy to beat most players. At 11$ and 20$ level the skill goes up, people get more aggressive but they still play ABC poker which can be exploited. I would say the biggest change in skill is when you hit the 55$+ hu, people know how to mix it up and are generally giving you hell, so it just becomes a "chess" match and just comes down to who can trap the other person.

on fulltilt the 2$ 5$ and 6$ are usually easy money. 10$ level people are a little wiser from my experience.

as far as 9 handed same goes. i dont like playing anything less then the 12$ SnGs if your trying to not play with complete DONKS. (of corse theres always the exception.

hu limit is there as much action as nl ,if you were starting out in hu play how would you start ? /

I am one of those minions who play at the lower levels $1 & $2. Tight/weak is a overwhelming majority of what you run into. I had someone who was loose/aggresive this morning which was refreshing. When I lose at those tables, it's usually my fault. I am far from a good player, but for whatever reason i get knocked off my game I make extremely bad decisions and I end up beating myself.

I have been a rail bird at the $69 buy-in SnG's for the past month now. Like I said I'm not that good of a player, but I really thought people at this buy-in would be a tad better. My friend has played nothing but straight ABC poker and she is making bank.

player at anything... cards, Tennis, billiards, just name it, anyhow gl at the tables.

yeah,i play a lot of HU. to succed in this kind of game you must be an very aggresive player,of course skill have the biggest importance,not only at Hu,in every kind of game.

Most low money players won their money from a freeroll and want to keep it so they are passive. Be aggressive but watch how they play to know when to fold.
