I have recentley been trying a few heads up live/cash games, and have not been doing very well.
What is a good strategy?? I have heard that when a mtt gets to heads up, you should play really aggressive and raise almost anything preflop, i do this in tournaments and do quite well, but... how should i play in cash games??? Should i still play very aggressivley?? Please tell me your strategy for heads up cash games. (i usually play no limit 0.10/0.25 ???) |

Dont play them The rake is usually a total killer playing HU cash games. Anyway there is a big differernce between HU in a tournament when your usually shortstacked in relation to the blinds, and you dont have time to be waiting around for big hands, hence what sometimes looks like manicial aggression. In a deep stacked NL game, while still being aggressive you should be much more controlled, and keep picking off small pots, and not playing the big ones without a hand. Having said that i havnt played deep stacked NL that often. |
