| Getting value from big pairs I play a lot of lower level Sit and Go’s, usually $5 or $10. Over the last 6 months I have broken even and have not had to deposit any more money since my initial deposit. I realise the one of my main faults is that I am struggling to get maximum value from my big pairs. It seams to me that if I limp in I get busted by rubbish and if I raise then everyone seams to fold and I win very little. So I have a question for you. It is the first had of a $10 STT. Everyone has 1500 chips and the blinds are 15/30 I am on the button and I am dealt AA. How much would you raise if there was 1 caller 2 callers 3 callers 4 callers 5 callers 6 callers 7 callers |

| Depends on what they're calling... If they're all calling the blind, you raise enough to let them know you got them beat... Now, if they're all calling an all-in, you fold the damn Aces, because you know you're gonna get sucked out... But it all depends on what they are doing...raise 4x the blind and let them come in with their shitty hands and flop top pair so you can eliminate them! |

| There's a rule for limpers which is very general, but holds true a lot of the time: Raise a standard 3BBs + 1BB for every limper. So for one limper it would be a 4BB raise; for four limpers it would be 7BBs. If you have a particularly loose player who you think will call more, then raise more, and vice versa for a tighter player. |
