| Game Theory I was reading Phil Gordon's little green book and he mentions of a "Biggest Online Winner", with a style of play that he says is undefeatable by game theory. Can someone clarify the whole game theory thing a bit? I'm not too knowledgable on the game theory - it sounds a tad academic-ky. Cheers. |

| I remember reading that too, I think by game theory he is just meaning the current accepted best "theories" about how to play. From what I recall, the 'Biggest Online Winner' was all about pushing all-in on premium combo draws e.g. where your odds to win might be around 50% or higher. The folding equity you gain, and the chance you are going to win anyway suggests a winning strategy. I dont know how it pans out in practice though. |
