Full Tilt Point BRM?

After seeing philthy's brag about winning a 50 FTP satellite to the 2500 FTP satellite to the $750K guarantee, I thought up a question that might not have been brought up on CC before:
Does anybody practice bankroll management with their full tilt points?
Do you guys try to save up a certain # of points before doing a points tournament?
I would like to know if people think its a good idea to practice it.
Should these points be taken more seriously than just throwing around 50 points to try to get into FTOPS or the $750K guarantee satellite?

Like lets say i have 450FTP. Would it be bad bankroll management to do a 50FTP tournament?

Well the points are free, so its impossible to lose anything from said points.

So basically what you mean is, do you save your points for bigger events?

50 ftp is nothing, its a worthwhile shot at something better for free.

Ok - well I personally save my points, FPP's, on pokerstars prolly gunna save till i get like 3k for sunday million sat's cuz its good money.

I believe I should be saving up the points until FTOPS season so that I can try and get into the main event and stuff like that

I would save my points for FTOPS season where the points can lead to serious money. If you're impatient there's the $1 guarantee in a few weeks.

That's about 1500 points, but the shipping may kill you.
