Freezing up with the big stack

Hello again and thank you again for your posts. They have helped out a tremendous amount. Ok, I have a tendancy to freeze with a big stack. For example. I double up to 18k with bb still only at 400. I am so happy with my stack that I don't want to open a pot, get called, c-bet and get called, and then have to fold to a check raise or something along those lines in turn losing a large percentage of my stack. But everything I keep hearing tells me to open many pots with marginal hands pre flop with a big stack. Please tell me, when it is folded to me, should I just make myself open pots and not fear losing chips? This tendancy to freeze up, is it common or am I just being kind of a wimp here? Well I have this issue sometimes. You definately should widen your range some but opening as many pots as possible doesnt sound very sound to me.

we all can win at this sick game, im mals biggest fan and have watched him through all of his teaching and winning i take what he says to heart and use it in my games everyday. Im a better player because of him. im the same way with big stacks i freeze up drives me crazy. im learning not to be getting better Mal says nobody is the best at holdem an we all can beat each other and phil hellmouth Q 10 idots from northern europe meet u at the tables love all tc CARDSCHAT IS THE BEST!!!!

Stick to your same number of hands like u played n open wider abit like 4 -8 more sorts of hands... opening up doesnt means play with any junks hands or marginal hands... n oso avoid those bigger stacks than you if they shove u...

If I turn in a big stack I just carry on playing normally alot of people think there can bully with big stack and end up losing most of they stack being "cocky". And calling most hands!

Just carry on playing a good solid game and your be fine.
