As you say, this is all predicated on your read of the player and the importance of the situation, but it's a good thing to keep in the back of ones mind just for when that situation arises. |

Yeah, you can see this in action by watching any of the big online tourneys. Every week I try to watch 4 tables at a time of well known online pros in the PokerStars Sunday Million. Very informative. You can learn a lot about these situations by watching the best, even if you don't see the cards showndown that often. Great post, + rep.

A good explanation of the math behind why you would fold to someone that tight (15%) and who raises that little (5%).
Would he fold any of these hands: "AK JJ TT AQ And possibly AJ, KQ and 99." to a REraise preflop? |
