folding ace low I play low limit,no limt holdem poker online and have gottin in the habit of always folding ace low off suit pre flop religeously position usually doesnt sway my decision much one way or another . i do this because i find it hard to define the majority of the players hands at these limits. So does my loss off throwing away potentialy best hand out weigh, my gain of better being able to know where im at And does any one have any tips on Alow for loose agg play in general? Thanx

re: folding ace low poker Also depends on your table image, who has raised, called or folded before you and the size of the pot. UTG, I agree with you that A rag is a mediocre hand, but if you have opponents with moderate chip stacks (12-14bb), medium blinds, a tight image at a TAGish table, raising or even reraising with A-6o might be the right move depending on your position (UTG+1, not so much, button, hell yeah). The danger is knowing when you're beat before and especially after the flop.: good reads are necessary here.

You need to have a reasonably good read of players to play weak Ace's. I do from late positions and may raise if people limp just to steal the button fromt he cutoff or the seat next to it. I then take one stab at the pot on the flop if i sense weakness. I see weak aces hurt people alot.
