| Flush chaser triumphs Full Tilt Poker - No Limit Hold'em Cash Game - $0.05/$0.10 Blinds - 5 Players - (LegoPoker Hand History Converter) SB: $8.75 BB: $10.15 UTG: $14.80 CO: $32.15 Hero (BTN): $13.70 Preflop: Hero is dealt 7♠ K♠ (5 Players) 2 folds, Hero calls $0.10, SB calls $0.05, BB checks Flop: ($0.30) 7♦ K♦ 5♣ (3 Players) SB checks, BB checks, Hero bets $0.20, SB folds, BB calls $0.20 Turn: ($0.70) 7♦ K♦ 5♣ 2♥ (2 Players) BB checks, Hero bets $0.40, BB calls $0.40 River: ($1.50) 7♦ K♦ 5♣ 2♥ Q♦ (2 Players) BB bets $1.80, Hero calls $1.80 Pot Size: $5.10 ($0.50 Rake) BB had A♦ 6♦ (a flush, Ace high) and WON (+$2.10) Hero had 7♠ K♠ (two pair, Kings and Sevens) and LOST (-$2.50) Just bet more so he won't chase? Is there anything I should do to maximize value when I hit 2 pair? I didn't want to bet him out of the pot with that hand, but it sucks he hit his flush. | You should fold on the river. It's quite obvious you're behind at this point. Also make at least a pot sized bet on the turn. Now he's getting 2.5 to 1 odds and you're giving him great implied odds. |

tony you do realize we want them to call but we want to give them incorrect odds but not so much that it is obvious. We want to bet like 2/3 of the pot which is still incorrect to call on the flush draw but our opponent will call because it does not seem like too much. We want this incorrect call |
