flopping 2 pair
For this example lets say your in the BB with 10/4o. 2 people limp, the sb just calls, and you check. The flop comes 4c kc 10d. How strong is this hand?
After the flop the sb checks. You bet 2/3 pot. One limper folds, and one raises 4x your bet. The sb folds. how do you feel about this hand? I am a still a beginer at poker. Just curios what you would do. |

I'm always a little wary when I flop two pair. It seems like a solid hand, but it's usually not as good as you think it is, especially in a situation like this when there's an overcard on the board.
I would either fold or shove here, depending on how the raiser has been playing lately. If you think he's got the king and either the ten or four, fold it. If he's got a history of bluffing, shove all-in and try to force him out. |

As with everything in poker the correct answer to this question is entirely situational. We'd need to know what hands this guy has been playing, and how he has been playing them. Has he slow rolled his big hands alot? You might be looking at AA or AK. You could very well be up against KQ or in the bad spot K10 (which is a viable limp). We need a lot more info.
If I had to make a decision just based on the odds, I'd say you're ahead more than behind here, re-raise is in order, get them in there. |

Shinedown, your hand has not a lot to do with how OP hand plays out: two pairs, against two people can be a strong hand on a KT4 flop, depending on their preflop range: it loses value once you factor in straight and flush draws or set potential. You have everybody and their mom in your hand Shinedown: requirement for winning hand goes up a lot in these cases.
In your hand Shinedown, PF is bad, flop raise is bad and then going AI is bad IMHO. This is not a good flop at all for two pairs since once you get reraised AI, you are drawing very, very thin since somebody is bound to have at least a str8, bigger two pairs or set. This was seriously bad, sorry. In OP's hand, a set of Ts or Ks is unlikely due to to passive preflop play (assuming normal/fishy opponents), wich leaves us with only a set of 4's. Since OP had a 4 in his hand, this hand becomes pretty unlikely and villain's range should be weighted more towards single pair, higher two pairs and str8/flush draw. It's very read dependant but I would gladly go AI in OP's hand. I'm thinking about raise/folding 1.50 on the flop in your hand shinedown. |

Not very good for bleeding off chips on weak stuff. Call it a vomit hand or self trapping.
I would only check here for you have the low two pair here and looking at straight draws sets(trips) and even a higher two pair. this would only give you even less chances to hit your low end boat. |
