Fixed-Limit, How much do I sit with?
I'm starting to get into Fixed Limit. I started because of bankroll restrictions but I'm starting to think this is more of my style. Right now I'm playing .05/.10 on Bodog but I'm wanting to eventually multi-table .25/.50. Now I know I need about $100 for "proper BR management" but what is the minimum I should sit with? I'm thinking sitting with $2 for .05/.10 and $10 for .25/.50 is good but what do you think?

I like to sit down with, basically, as much as possible. I think itīs the best because the psychological effect of losing will be greater if a bad hour of playing results in you losing half your stack than if itīs just skimming at the top of it.
I also like to rebuy regularly for random amounts. This makes it harder to know if Iīm winning or losing, which I believe is a good thing. When I play, I donīt want to occupie my mind with irrelevant issues such as if Iīm being up or down for the session, but only with making the right long-term decisions. |
