| Fixed Limit Badugi Say I have A2XX offsuit and defend my big blind in a multiway pot. I catch an offsuit 4 and have a good 4 card badugi draw: A24X. Someone who was not the original raiser led out a bet after drawing 1 on first draw. And the original raiser, who stood pat, calls. Now, I believe someone has a 10 or better badugi at worst by now. But with such a strong draw I call. I miss and guy who led out after 1st draw bets again after 2nd draw. Original raiser calls. I call??? I had 7:1 odds with my draw, and figured a 3,5,6,7,8, or maybe 9/10, were likely to give me the winning hand. |

| 7:1 odds is almost enough to call with 1 draw left if you think a T low will win. However, players don't usually draw 1, then bet into pat opponents with anything less than an 8 low. Considering that he also bet out after the second draw that makes it even more likely that he has a strong hand. I'd say you need at least an 8 low here to win (and 10:1 odds) and probably a 7 (12.5:1 odds). |

There's a readme file with Troutulator that has some info about how to use it. I just downloaded it too, though, and haven't taken the time to figure it out yet. |
