After some time playing SNG´s/Mtts get to the point to not feel the game any more, get burned and really need to change of game, so what better to try real poker. I try a challenge to get 1000 18man/$3.50 with at least 10% roi months back and challenge was complete. I think having my own thread could be the best way to keep me motivaded again.

Never really try cash game before, probably less than 500 hands in 2-3years period, really are a fish on this, but this month for some reason play a session like 30 minutes and even when lose feel great playing poker, 2nd day play again, lose again but still feel the rush and emotion again for play poker, so decide to stick to cash for some time.

Been reading some threads here and in 2+2 lately and learning everyday, will post graphs in next post, very small numbers of hands but just to start from here.

Playing 2nl FR on Pokerstars, only 3K hands so far (10 days), start playing 2 tables, then next day go with 4, then after that go to 5, now im playing 6, will try to stay with 6 some time before try more.

Day by Day
Daybyday

Hands
Hands so far

BM for this.

2nl - 20 buyins

5nl - 25 buyins
10nl - 30 buyins

Will see from there.

Have the BR to play 5nl but decide to start with 2nl because have so much time playing donkaments than prefer to spew in 2nl for some time before move up.

Will see this weekend if feel ok to make the jump.

Cheers.

Playing 6 tables at the time, and yes i only play 9max, and only the "faster" format.

My reasons to play only 9max is because need to play looser in 6 max which is not ok with my way of play. You have more variance in 6 max which is not cool. In 6max blinds hit you faster (meaning pay more rake, need to steal more, etc. and if some one is sitout or go out end with 4-5 players so blinds hit you even faster). You can play more tables with 9max.

Good to see another FR'er, well done moving to proper poker :) will follow this gl.

Thanks Acky

Very cool! wish you all the best;
i like your reasoning regarding playing FR v. SH. Traffic is so slow where i'm playing so i have to actually mix in order just to get 4 tabes at once. . .

Thanks K, yep, every day is a new day. I read that you stick with 4 tables of only 9max, good for you man.

Wasup ramdeebam. See your thread about the busto with Hypers/Tilt, how you doing lately?.
----------------

Well, yesterday night want to play another session and things keep running very bad, at the end of the session lose 3 all ins in like 1 minute, trips vs trips, KK vs AA, and air vs flush. 3 buyins less to End the day with 6 buyins down which pretty much put me back to start again.:dontknow:, nothing to do aside of keep positive and try to improve.

Today things get a little better, decide to cut 1 table to be more focus and load only 5, play 2 short sessions, both sessions ended positive, 1st session end +$1.05, 2nd session just +$0.08 but better than nothing, total is +$1.13 in 374 hands. Not sure if play later.

+1^

Ya i think the best thing i could possible say is; to just stay positive; and play
smart; i've realized in my cash game adventure how different it is to SnG play.
I mean you know what I'm saying, principles/ most elements the same but,
My graph after having great results on first 800 hands; took a gross nosedive,
from which i'm still trying to come up above the +/- $0 line;

I have a lot of live game experience, but online is a whole other animal. . ..
Once you've made the "adjustment" you should be great, i'm still trying to make that adjustment myself. . . .

Agree with you taaron. My graph last 1000 hands looks like a free fall and lose all earn it in previews 5k hands.The last year or more been playing only turbo SNG´s, this push to focus more on stack sizes, icm and push/fold game, so my postflop game is kind of rusty. I just need to study and practice more.

Anyway, play another short session, 208 hands, +$0.67. So, all 3 sessions today ended positive which is nice, back to green numbers in total graph.

Total Day: 582 hands / +$1.80
