figuring rebuys into a BR
okay. im trying to figure out how to manage my BR when it comes to rebuy tournies. i sit down at cash games with 5%~ of my BR, and play mtt freezeouts with 2% of my BR. how should i figure a rebuy up? estimate 5 buyins total? 7? 3? 11? ;/
i dont know what my average buyin is for a $10+R, for instance. last time i only double bought and added on and finished 24th. the last 3+R i played i rebought like 17 times and finished 40th. any advice? |

Do you have PokerTracker? It gives you rebuy totals and I think you can figure an average from them. Even if you don't have PT, you could go back to the cashier section of the site you play on (assume Stars) and check your transaction history. You might be able to see how many rebuys you had and take an average from the amount. Once you have your average, you can use that number for future planning.
Just a thought. |
