EP flopped top pair decent kicker.
here is my question. im in the EP i called the BB and theres a raised in the MP and called by LP so i called with with a decent card (I guess). let say i have KQ. flopped K and two small card rainbow. should i bet first on the flopped or jus check it? if i were to check should i check/raise or smooth call? thanks

Well I get the general idea of what your asking and my answer is when there is more than 1 opponent I'm checking to see what the others are doing as the odds of your hand being beaten go up quite a bit for each player that stays in the hand plus you are first to act. Scary spot.

depends on the types of players behind you, only hands that really beat you right now are AK and KK so i would assume I have the best hand if the player in Mp and lp were loose and would attempt to set a bear trap if they were agressive and check. If I notice they play position im more apt to try and trap for some donk overplaying his KJ
. If they were tight on the other hand, there are still only 2 hands that beat you and unless you were certain that they had kings or ak or a set (for the guy in lp) then i would just go ahead and bet to see where im at even if they do raise I'm probably gonna go ahead and call unless i have a read on them ![]() |
