Double Stack Tournaments

In everyone's experience, how does the play differ between double stack tournaments and other normal stack tournaments? Do you feel that the double stack tournaments are harder to play or do you find it easier?
Also, is there a different approach that you like to take when playing double stack tournaments?
Does anyone have a particular strategy for them?
I feel that my double stack game is sound, but there is always room for improvement!

I like the double stacks. It gives you so much play than the typical tourney. I don't have a particularly different approach than the regualr tourneys, other than you can play a few more hands early on without really affecting you relative stack size.

The only tourneys I avoid are turbos. I can't stand them!

Agreed, double stacks are easier to play, but I was just wondering if there was another more advanced style of play, rather than your regular stack play.

Most double stack tourneys ive played also have a blind level increase at 30mins instead of 15 or 20, so the favor in these tourneys goes to the solid players.

Half of the normal/turbo tourneys early on people are pushing to get chips, and thats not necessary in a double stack.

Just play a sound game of poker and usually you will be fine.

In the few DST's that I've played, early on a lot more floating with suited and connected cards even on 3x-4x raises. More steal attempts from late position. Also the length of these can be pretty long.

You can't play a LAG game with double stacks, since people drastically widen their pre flop calling hands and are more willing to call down light since they have the chips too. Doube stacks aid the solid as a rock image

I have to disagree with this to some extent. Because stacks are deeper you have more implied odds, similar to a cash game. Therefore, you can actually play more hands, particularly in position. However, as noted, the aggression factor changes a bit, in that you probably need to be more passive preflop.
