6. Better chances of making money

6 = 2 pay out spots
9 = 3 pay out spots.

So for 3 more people you only get one more pay out spot. Better chances of making money.

I prefer 6 handed, you have more card ranges to work with and the game moves faster.

I was thinking this is for ring games, for the pace of the game is faster, but if SnG's than my choice is 9 seater

Six-handed, all around, whether it's ring or SNG. It appeals to my slightly maniacal and donkish nature (I get to play more hands), plus, I can get a quick SNG in w/ a 6-seater.

Seem to have more consistent success at 6 handed SNG's, and generally try to play 9 seat rings, appeals to my extremely conservative nature I guess.

I prefer short handed tables because I think you can play looser there than at full tables.
