Hi all.

Dont break your bankroll over it. Stick to the main rules for bankroll management. Sure it is the WSOP but if you do qualify but shatter your bankroll in the process and bust out on day one what ya going to do? There will always be more WSOP tourneys so just play to your limits. Plus with sites offering Satallites for small buy ins you dont need to break your roll.

As for stratergy, play it according to the skill of your opponents. If you're in a $3 satallite the players are going to be relativly new. Exploit the fish and avoid the foxes until later stages. Play to your style. If your aggressive, be aggressive. If your tight, be tight. Less adapt to your opponents but don't change your play just because your in a WSOP satallite. Good luck

I see that you play on ladbrokes and I'm not familiar with their sat. paths as far as cost.

As ketz pointed out it's not the case to shatter your bankroll. A good strategy for this, regardless of how big your BR, is to assign a certain percentage of it to WSOP satellites. Depending on how bad you want to go you can put that percentage higher, say like 30% of it. That's not bad. If you think that's too much then adjust accordingly. The whole point is to give yourself some kind of discipline and stick to it.

Once that 30% is gone you no longer play them and return to your regular, more profitable games. After you rebuild you can try again. This way you won't go broke in the hopes of qualifying. I also suggest, once you rebuild, to wait until June (the last month) to start playing them again. That to avoid temptation, when the deadline is close, to go over whatever percentage of your BR you established. 1 more thing: don't play more than 1 sat per day, it will help you control your BR. With these ground rules, and you sticking to them, you should be able to try to qualify without destroying your BR in the process.

GL with it, hope you make it.
