Do I not know how to play or what?
Aces cracked three times by KJ, AQ, JT
KJ catches J on turn K on river. AQ catches gutshot on river with horrible pot odds to even try. J10 catches third ten on river with 10 being second pair on the flop. AK cracked by A5. Gets two pair on the turn. Of coures I've been playing Limit I love the fish but they outdraw me 99% of the time. I try to fish and I lose it all. What levels should you play limit at? I've been trying $1/$2 and $3/$6. |

Quote:
First of all, 99% is an exaggeration, what is the real amount of time? Secondly, if they are out drawing you, punish them for their draws. Bet hard. |

Try posting some hand histories; as OMB mentioned, maybe it's the way you play your hands that's getting you beat. Posting HHs and getting responses is a great way of improving your play by seeing other players' perspectives.

re: Do I not know how to play or what?
yes 99% was an exxageration but each time I've had aces in the last week in limit, which has been 3 so far, they've had position on me so they've had the luxury of just calling so I couldn't raise them, I could only bet. But so far I'm 0 for 3 with Aces over the last week. In the KJ scenario I capped the betting preflop.
I'll see if I can find the hand history. |

No matter how hard you try to force people off of a hand there are those who will always call. I've seen it in micro games all the way through big money games. They either don't believe the person betting has a hand or they have overestimated the strength of their own hand. So naturally suckouts will occur. As long as you are not checking it down there really isn't much you can do to prevent it. Take consolation in the fact that you are getting your money in with the best of it.
