crazy strategy

Last night playing on pokerstars I got to talking with this player who was on 24 tables.
He was an ubernit and even said "I'm probably the nittiest player on stars" running at 7.8/3.9/1.88 over 825 hands

They play about 8 hours a day on these tables and said they make about $15/hour on FPPs alone which is 1000 FPPs an hour on top of the money they make on the tables.

Just wondering what you think about this idea, playing super tight on so many tables and getting $15/hour on the side guaranteed. Mind you this person was on a 25 NL table and I think they play some 50 NL too. Even though they're so tight, I'm sure they get paid off by the people not paying attention because well, its 25 NL

PokerStarsPokerStars is one of the best sites to play online poker. They accept all US players & you can get a 100% up to $50 bonus.

Full Tilt PokerFull Tilt Poker is the poker site the pro's play at. US players are welcome - use code CARDSCHAT to get a $600 bonus.

Wow thats totally crazy to play that many tables at once - but obviously its working for him so I'd definitely have to say its a good strategy for him.... How in the world was he talking to you while playing on 24 tables - thats the really crazy part!

If I was doing this for "work", I would hope I would pull a better salary than $15 an hour. Even if they hit every now and again, it doesn't sound like a real lucrative wage opportunity to me. I'll keep my day job.

Not to mention, this person is probably slowing down every table he is at - Not a great way to earn the love of your fellow players...

He's making 15 dollars an hour on FTPs alone... thats not including what he's making at the tables. He could also be losing money at the tables, but playing 24 tables and earning 1000 FTPs an hour, hed go broke quick

re: crazy strategy

Amazing! The most tables I've ever played at once was 4 and I have trouble keeping up with just that! 24 tables is just ridiculous and inconsiderate of other players. It's like those bingo grandmas.

multi tabling

i have played more than 12 tables at once but it was on 1/2 cent nl tables.....nothing worse than getting behind and trying to keep up with the beeping and then folding aa by mistake...the hardest part is loading up that many tables ...once you get into all the tables its not too bad..if you play tight...there are a bunch of players who play many tables...maybe to reach a certain promotion level....all i know is my index finger and wrist feels much better since i reduced the number of tables...

How the hell do you play 24 tables at once. I have only ever successfully played at 4 at once. He must be running his 15 seconds wait time every time on every table.

overlap

i think the only way to play more than 6 tables is to put each minimized screen on top of each other.. i you have 24 tables with 60 hands per hour= 1 hand per minute you have on average 2 seconds /table to make your decisions...he might get bunched up occasionally but if he knows what hes going to do and only sees 8% flops he could keep up ... the hard part would be loading up the tables...and worse bathroom break? oh and carpel tunnel syndrome ?

re: crazy strategy

The highest I've heard of was a person who got his account suspended for using a bot to play 64 tables - only he wasn't using a bot. He sent in a video of him 64-tabling to pokerstars to prove it. He made supernova elite status
