People need to learn to fold when they are beat!
People need to learn to fold when they are beat!

Who says you can't win with a doyle brunson hand..
Who says you can't win with a doyle brunson hand..

I just thougtht it was funny that I read these two since they were right next to each other.
One he is complaining that he can't get someone to fold QQs when there is an ace on the board and his opponent got bailed out with a 4 card straight.

The next one he doesn't call a flop bet with 2nd pair he reraises and sucks out the trips on the turn.

Can't have it both ways . Just found it really funny that they were right next to each other on the list of threads.

Yeah apparently the term.. making the other player believe you have the better hand didn't come to mind?? .. he had the option to re-raise into taking control and having me believe he had the Q... Then again you need a hand to call a raise from while being in the BB. Position equals Power in that scenario..

One he is complaining that he can't get someone to fold QQs when there is an ace on the board and his opponent got bailed out with a 4 card straight. You mean Gut shot straight.. 4 cards to come..

Lets see..2250 in the pot at the flop..4650 at the turn.. Now lets see a call is warranted after the turn..3765 bet on the turn.. making that 8415..now he has to put in 3765 to make a 1:10 call.. and for giggles rounding up as well that is 1:3 to call.. looks like I mad the right bet and he made the wrong call.. I took command, made sure the bets didn't warrent any of the calls.

In both hands I had taken command, kept command cause both were beaten. So taking command in both scenarios was well warrented and well played.

Not my fault neither re-took command or shown any strength.

I was only commenting on the suck out factor. I am not saying what you did was right or wrong, just one hand you got the cards and the other one he did.

I really was not commenting on quality of play by you or your opponents, just the cards, chill alittle.

Gut shot? Look again twizzy. Any King, 8 or Queen would have won the hand. 10 outs.

Ok still had 5:1 odds to hit vs the 3:1 bet.. so the call wasn't warranted based apon the bet I placed..

I would play that same hand, same bet all day till the cows come home cause his call wouldn't be so profitable in the long run.
