Collusion or coincidence?

I posted earlier about thr bet/raise every hand no matter what strategy. raise strategy in limit hold 'em But I also encountered two players using this same strategy at the same table. Basically making it 8 bets to go every hand if you wanted to see the flop. most people would call the one raise at a time up to 5 then fold til its just the two. Now I cant remember how they played after the flop. I'll get a transcript next time I see it. But if one of them just folded and the other took it down they could take turns and rule the table. I kept hoping one would take the other out but it never happened. What specifically should I look for to recognise collusion. Why would there be collusion in play chip tourney you ask? Practise? To see if it works maybe? Then again it could just be two mainiacs having a pissing contest with me caught between them.

I suggest you take names, and save hand histories. Game and hand numbers might help, but will be included in the hand histories.

This could be a form of collusion, and once brought to the attention of most sites will be dealt with fairly rapidly.

Regardless of where you play people always want to cheat you in some shape or form. Greed is the root of all evil and it definitely flows right into online poker. I have been in games like this all the time and love to trap both of them at the same time when they keep reraising the pots to eliminate strangers. I had this one time these 2 guys where constantly raisin preflop and once everone was out of the pot but them they would trade off folding. Anyways I waited patient for my hand and busted them both with bullets. After I won I told them both 2 go work another table because I will gladly take all there money the longer they play with me. Collusion only works to steal blinds for the most part. They cant control the way the cards are dealt and pan out. There really isnt any advantage to them doing this other then the intimidation factor. A strong player will put that crap to a halt when you take there money in 1 hand that they have cheated everyone else out of for days. Wait and stick it to them with monster pocket pairs. Let them reraise all there chips in if they like then go over top of them and take down a massive pot. LOL tell them thx for the donations... Best of luck!!!!

I remembered where I have seen play like this; it was at Yahoo play money. If anybody thought they had a hand they would cap the betting no matter what other players did or the board showed. Perhaps these were new players who's only training was such.
