Christmas time again
Playing in a christmas poker game at the buddy's house tomorrow night and just wondering if any one has any suggestions on strategy for the night. Its a NL tourney, 2 tables(8 at each) going to a final table.
The standard will range from very good to almost beginner. Normally I am fairly aggressive but I am afraid the fresh faces might be calling stations and I could get in trouble. Any ideas? |

Dont try to go in with any set strategy, you need to feel the table out and go from there. You might have someone on the table who is a calling station, maybe someone who over values their A rag. Start out playing a solid game and adjust to your surroundings. If you go in saying "im gonna be extra aggresive" or "top ten hands only", you'll find yourself wondering why you did not play your best game.
Always remember to stay relaxed and enjoy yourself, but dont get set on any particular game plan just my humble opinion g/l |

Sit back, enjoy it and after watching how the game is going and once you have found who are the strong, the weak and the fish - play
![]() Remember - only the best cards will do, and position ![]() Then at the end when you stand up, won or lost as long as you've tried your best and enjoyed it, then no complaints ![]() Have fun IanT |
