Is Checking with a weaker pair actually smart?
Checking with a weaker hand will give the opponent the idea that you can be bluffed. Although checking will allow you to stay in the game with no fees, but it also gives away your hand strength. So, is checking really smart?

I assume you mean checking with position... yeah, sometimes its okay to check behind, especially on a draw. although, a bet can usually earn you a free card on a higher round (in limit)... it does give away the strength of your hand too, but if you know you're beaten, and you know they'll call, do not bet...simple
