| Great strategy but can also hurt you.. by checking in hopes of your opponent(s) betting. You could indeed be giving a free look at the next card, making an opponents hand the monster now instead of yours. |

Useful to get a tight player off some chips and it usually freaks out the ultra-aggressive person - especially if you've created a tight table image. But as Twizzy says, sometimes you give folks a free card so I use the mininum bet more often... |

| I do what you do dave as well.. minimum bet.. someone raises.. then I re-raise. The minimum bet can also hurt you if everyone just calls. You gain no information on a minimum bet either when everyone just calls. |
