| 1. A raked hand is a small portion of each pot taken by the house. The percentage taken varies by site, and obviously, the higher the limits, the more the rake. Make sure to look over your sites rules and guidelines as to what they consider a "qualifying" raked hand. 2. Given that the size of your bankroll is small, I would be sure to play limit HE, rather than NL at first, and play very tight. Many sites only have a requirement that you be dealt into a hand to get credit for a raked pot (even if you fold), but some require that you actually contribute to the pot. 75 raked hands shouldn't be hard to reach at all. Check with the site to see specifically what qualifies for a raked hand. The amount of rake usually has to reach a certain amount, and varies depending on table limit size. Good luck! |

In my experience, nearly all sites simply require you to buy into a real money table and be dealt hands. As long as the hand is played and raked by the house, it counts. While this is the norm in my experience, jQ is also right that there are some that have some goofy rules so it is best to find out first. If they have something screwy, you could wind up paying for the shirt than if you just bought it. |
