| Bubble play - out again!!! Hi all. When ever I hear people talk about the bubble, it is always about getting aggressive with the shortstacks and all that macho stuff. This month I have suffered a variety of times in MTT when I have gone out on the bubble. I`m not that bothered because I would prefer to bust out or double up but am I missing a trick? An example was today, on full tilt, playing Omaha hi lo. Big stack on button min raised. I call (MTT, 150+ top 18 paid, 19 left. I was standing about 15) I was sitting with J high flush, Ace out, the last card to hit put lo out. He puts me all in - I had got rid of 1/2 my stack. It was a pot odds call and although I was worried he had a better flush - K/Q beats me - I call. I was thinking he is on the lo (I was not) and he is trying to put me under pressure. Cut a long story short - he had K high flush. My point - when u r short stacked ond u r on the bubble, r u better only going with the nuts? |
