Big Stakes Shorthand MTT

Can anyone please help?

I've qualified for the monthly big tournement on the Ongame network! However i have now learned this month it is going to be a shorthand tourney. Buy in is $1000 + 40 not sure of the length of the blinds but would think 20 min blinds starting at 20 / 20..
Has any1 got any good advice for playing this kind of tourney as shorthand aint my strongest game.
This advice i read on this site has been helping me improve my game 100 fold lately , keep up the good work.
