Guy in the hijack (tight and careful) raises, small blind calls and I make it the standard 3.5X raise. Carefull guy folds as expected but WTF...

SB throws in half his stack! SERIOUSLY confusing!

Its wierd, I seriously thought about folding. Figuring he had one of the top 4 but irrelivant as it may seem I noticed his 3-bet to be 8%!

Maybe its ridiculous to use this as a reason to shove but hey I WAS tilted!

I guess QQ stacks up better than even against AK but I cannot figure if I had odds or not. What do you guys think? Good shove or lucky break?

I think stacking is fine based on his flat/shove. See this turn up as things like medium pp's or even AQ just doing weird things at micros quite a bit, so QQ has massive equity against that range.

Of course there are guys that never raise their KK/AA, so you wanna know if that's the case or not, but in a vacuum I'd say getting it in isn't terrible

AK has a different value heads up then it does 3-way. He was probably trying to take it to a flop and see if he improved, then make a move on the pot. Your raise could have been percieved as a squeeze play, and villain is only desperately behind two hands. While AKo tends to be in my 3-betting range, once the pot is headsup he's probably happier to stack off.

Once you jam, he's getting great pot odds so I'd say his call was standard as far as cash games go. He's getting roughly 3:1 on his money and against KK he's 30% to win. The odds of you having aces with him having an ace was also slim, however he'd be a much bigger underdog then.

While I don't particularly like his line (not 3-betting with AK), perhaps that's his style of play. I'd be happy to take QQ against most hands in villain's range. I've seen this move pulled off with a mid PP countless times, but usually from villains with higher 3-bet %.

Depending on your 3-bet % he might have thought he was ahead, and by the time he stacked off he was getting the odds to call.

I don't like his 4-bet though. Although the hand dynamics fold when the fold comes, he's still only ahead of a very narrow sliver of your 3-bet range (without your stats). He should have either called and hoped for a pair, or jammed to make your decision tougher. But by his last action, he's happy to stack off provided you don't flip over Aces anyway.

You are slightly ahead of AK but that is the bottom of many peoples 4bet range.

He has seen a raise and a reraise so do you think he is cold 4betting with 22-TT?

He may do this with JJ which you crush. He may do this with AK which you are slightly ahead of but everything else he is doing this with crushes you.

People just are not betting wide enough at 10NL.

You said he had a 3bet stat of 8% but firstly over how many hands? has it converged yet and secondly do you not think his cold 4bet % after a raise and a 3bet would be much lower than his 3bet stat where he has only seen an open?

However here the SB has already called a raise and then decides to come over the top of a squeeze. That is an odd play. I generally expect to see the whole spectrum of pairs here.
