Betting in pot limit games...

Hi all.

Trying to find articles on this but I can`t.

I play a lot of O8 PL. As it happens I am able to withdraw monthly, so I`m winning.

However, I still struggle to get my head around betting in pot limit.

Can anyone, in laymans terms, explain what you are aiming to do?

I can understand the basic ones, but I struggle badly if I flop say a set with my pair hitting the flop. Do I slow play, bet half the pot, bet pot???

In my PLO topic this very subject is being discussed. The consensus seems to be POT bet when you bet. Naturally this like everything else in poker can never ALWAYS be the play however if you pot bet when you are on a draw and you pot bet when you already have the nuts it makes it harder for the villian to out you on a hand.

What limits are you playing? Ring? SnG? MTT?
