| Bet sizing in cash poker Hey all. Making the transition from MTTs to cash and was wondering about bet sizing pre flop. ie. obv am used to 2.5x raises and 3x raises, but most of the articles I have read about cash refer to 4x-ing, betting pot and maxing out reraises. Any thoughts / rules / articles would be most appreciated. Thanks |

| Raise bigger on fishy tables (i.e. microstakes), so 4bb or 5bb. Raise bigger when your range is stronger, smaller when it's weaker (don't vary it at the same table, just if you're playing loose, raise small, if tight, big). Raise bigger in early position and smaller in LP. Or just raise 4bb from everywhere. |
