Best way to use Free Roll Money

What do you think is the best way to use my winnings from Free Roll Tourneys? I am trying not to make a deposit and build my bankroll via free rolls.
The goal is to get a $1000 bankroll by the end of the year.
So if I win say $8 in a free roll, should I use it for other cash tourneys or go into a micro no limit game and build it that way? Your thoughts are appreciated.

If this is at stars, then play the 1c2c games. I believe that all you need to kill that level is one brain cell.

Dude if that is your goal, you have a lot of poker to play in less than a month. If your doing it this way you need to spend all you bankroll at a mtt, then repeat until you make it.

If you are more likely just trying to make money. With 8$ id advise not playing a cash table since you dont have the stability to suffer a few bad beats. Id advise either holding onto it and waiting until you make more in freerolls, or play in a few 1$ mtt and hope for a big payout

I need to get into micro limits, but I'm empty at Stars. Got 0.50 on Full Tilt Poker, but nothing there below $2 min buyin. Anyone care to transfer trade? 50 cents at pokerstars for 50 cents at Tilt? lol

Playing at PokerStars you should make a point of entering the $0.10, $50 added MTT Tournies, and possibly the micro 1/2c Ring.

Good Luck

I might be wrong but I think there's a 10c MTT at FT at least once a week, maybe it's every day? I'm not sure, I just know I saw it a few times. It's really cheap to buy in, has probably the same kind of players as a freeroll or cheap SNG but with better payouts.

10 cent MTT at Full Tilt

Yeah, there is a $.10 MTT at Full Tilt. I think about 4 or 5 times a week. It's a rebuy tournament so you're at a small disadvantage if you just want to spend $.10. But, I've found that the players are so wild you can just sit and wait for a good hand and double or triple up before the rebuy period is over. Rebuys are $.50.

I'm trying to build up a bankroll without making another deposit too. I'd recommend playing small buy-in mtts as soon as you have the entry fee. Of course take my advice for what it's worth since I'm still at $.37 at Full Tilt.

No, Bigwave, you're at a huge disadvantage in that rebuy. There are two kinds of people in that tournament: People that only want to spend the initial $0.10 buy-in, or maniacs who shove every hand, and just rebuy when they lose.

Can't. Last I knew, transfer minimum on FT was $5.00

Good Luck
Only problem with the PokerStars dimers is that they are turbo. The dash to the cash is fast and furious. You can't wait for premium hands or you blind out quickly. Even aggressive bets on premium hands usually get numerous donkey callers with junk - and we all know what happens there ...

While it's possible to turn a few bucks of freeroll winnings into $1000 in a couple of weeks, if you don't have enough confidence in your game to put up some money out of your own pocket, then maybe you should reconsider your goal and set one that's more achievable.

I placed in a freeroll about a week ago and I used it on 1.25 SNGS on Full Tilt Poker but I was playing so tight in the freeroll that I got blinded out from the SNG.. It sucked=

At poker Stars yo need at least 25.00 then go for the 2.25 sat to sun hundred grand. If your a good player you could make you're goal in 1 tourney. Those 50 grand tourneys pay very well. Usually around 18 K to win. A final table should do the trick for you.

I agree w/ most of the replys. I'd say stay away from micro and go to the small MTT (18-45) buyins. You have shown your ability to stick around and play solid poker so this should carry over to the smaller fields. Just my 2 cents.

the 9 player sng's are good for me. Also like mentioned the 2.20 sat. you can get T$ for unregistering from the target tourney and use them for any tourney buy in.
