| Best way to cure tilt caused by poor cards combined with slow-players? I've gone on tilt lately at one place that I play microlimit ring games, as a result of relatively poor cards in the short term, combined with the appearance that a lot of people there slowplay their hands. I think the frustration of not getting hands, and then having people jump at the river (aha, he's just bluffing, I think to myself, while I've at least got top pair) undermines my confidence in my hands, causing me to fold too easily and to not bet for value. It's a nice downward spiral. In the meantime, I should play SnGs, freerolls, other situations where this doesn't seem to be affecting me, but, does anyone have other advice for how to get out of this rut? |
