Large Major Tourney - Harrington, No one has been as consistant as Dan in the WSOP.

Small Major Tourneys - Negranue, He is eating up the WPT and was Player of the Year at the WSOP by cashing in a bunch of the smaller events.

NL Cash Games - Brunson, This is where he makes his Millions

Limit Cash Games - Harman, To sit at a Table with Jenn, It will cost you $6k just to post the Big Blind. She has won the Largest known Pot in Poker History. She is a Consistant Winner at the Highest Stakes.

7-Stud - Chris Ferguson, Chris has always been stuff at 7-Stud

Overall by far its DANIEL NEGRANEU ! He is awesome, great player.
Plus on the Heads Up Tourney he even called the 8 of di and J of di for his straight flush. They said the chances of someone doing that was 1 in like 2 million and something. PLUS HE IS HOTT!

My favorite though is GUS HANSON, I mean you have to give the guy credit, exspecially when he will call an all-in because he doesn't want to lay down 10 high, and he wins. That is awesome, or luck one. PLUS HE IS HOTT TOO!

Lastly I love Phill Helmuth, just because he is a good player and I love when he gets pissed off, but I don't think he is that HOTT! (lol)

I don't know that there is a difinitive answer. I've seen the "pros" make huge mistakes just like amatures. Watch the 2nd place guy from wsop main event last year. He made two horrible calls. Got unbelievaly lucky. Then rubbed it in the face of the guy he took out. Pro huh? All that said, I think I have to go with Harrington he rarely makes mistakes, real consistant. I wish I had his patience but its tough sometimes.

I agree w you Rammer. Those would have been my picks also. I would also put Gus Hansen on the list for least likely person to be sitting across from you because you can't put him on a hand.

I'd have to say Daniel Negreanu. He has incredible instincts and reading skills and when he's on his game he is almost impossible to beat.

I love old man Brunson, but I gotta say that Ivey rocks lately. Of course there are lots and lots of big names that are very good players though. I really like Daniel, I just think he is a nice guy. I really like all of them, except the loud mouths and known weirdos...

For me it is Jesus Ferguson. This doesn't win many events but he seems to cash in every one he is in. Doesn't matter which game either. Stud is his forte but i have seen him cash in nl holdem pl hold em razz and even Omaha Hi/lo. Great versatility gives him the edge over the others.

I will choose 3 names.
First is Daniel Negreanu, of course...
Second is Sam Fahra.
Third would be Mike "The mouth" Matusow.
They all three on top of the game and able to do incredible moves.
If i had to choose a girl, i would bet on Michelle "No mercy" Mercier.

The best players are the loosest players because you cant put them on a hand. They get into pots with 9-5 and if something big hits then win huge pots with 9-5 but if nothing comes they lose next to nothing. Brunson has slowed down since he wrote his book but the top 5 players in my opinion would be,

Gus Hanson
Daniel Negraneu
Doyle Brunson
Sam Farha
Phil Ivey

I have to give alot of credit to Todd Brunson though, he made probablly the best poker play ever on high stakes poker when he got Daniel Negraneu to fold the nut flush because Daniel thought he had a full house, turns out he just bluffed the whole way.

PokerStars, anyone that says Mike the mouth is one of the best is crazy. Hes known for being loud, if he wasnt loud Mike the mouth would be on the same level as Raymer, Moneymaker or Jamie Gold. Just one a done luckboxes.

My top five in no particular order:
Hellmuth
Dan Negranue
Ivey
Harmon
Jesus
Any one of these players is nearly an impossible out when they are on their game. I'd have to say Harmon or Ivey as #1. They both play the "big game" at the Belagio on a regular basis, and consistently win under the pressure of $50,000 blinds.
