| Is this a Bad Play with KK? I'm Going up against a Very Aggressive player, and I know If I raise that he would Fold...So my plan for the hand was to C/R preflop, and because I know this player usually wont Fold Once He's Invested anything into the pot, My Question is A)Is this a Good play to play against these types of Aggressive Players? B) How could I have found out where I stood in the hand, without Letting him off cheaply if it's even possible? Last question for the hand is, Are we beat here, or are we good? But If you kept reading after-wards you'd notice why I did What I did...Every Time I Limped into a Hand this player Raised, Every Time I raised He Folded...So then I watched him Raise other limpers when I was not in the hand, and he Got RR and he still called...So he constantly kept on doing that move of the Raise, get RR and then ends up calling....Yet if I raise he folds...I don't see the negative to it...Unless your suggesting I just raise and he Folds and we win the blinds???? |

Or, you are a 60/3 fish, and its very easy for him to get out of the way once you raise. Either way, limping kings on the button is wrong. There's really no getting around that. |

| And by the way, there's a forum for this sort of thing. How do you have 2.5k posts and still not get the basics of how this forum works? Why do you think you can beat online poker if you can't figure out the simplest rules of the poker forum? |

| Raise with garbage and show when they fold, then you will get plenty of action with kk. I would never limp with kk in .01/.02 game. Thats a .06 cent pot and two other hands you have to worry about if your plan didn't work as hoped. |

Why wouldn't someone else 3bet or call your raise? |

| Even disregarding the pre-flop, where if you're playing a solid aggressive game you should be raising 30-50% of hands depending on opponents and therefore KK as part of that, there are still minor mistakes in the rest of the hand. It is definitely bet bet but make it $1+ on the flop on a great board in this spot and this has the added benefit of not needing to over shove the turn. You don't need to get tricky with what you have said is a bad player and I agree you're probably selectively remembering, how many times did he fold to your raises before you formed your decision? Just play standardly, get the simple things right time and again and wait for genuine reasons to deviate from that, because right now nobody is exploiting you, and you don't have to do much more than the basics to exploit your opponents. If he starts adjusting maybe raise 25% so your flop equity is going to be higher. After a while you'll be ~25/21 and thats not too bad. |
