Hey, this doesn't just happen online... In this years wsop, one of the holdem games that aired already, a guy at the final table got back to back aces - round 1 he folds them on the river even though they were best, and if i remember correctly round 2 he lost with them - so its not just online that this happens

I've had this happened many times and not just with aces. I normally only play them the first time and fold them the second time just cause in my experience almost every time they get cracked the second time around. One time I had pocket kings and right after pocket aces. No one played when I had the kings and my aces got cracked by some moron playing Q8 even after I raised preflop and again on the flop. Of course he caught his set on the turn, so I just checked all the way down-- I was so pissed. But I know thats how poker is sometimes. So, a curse? well, I guess it depends on who you're playing against.

re: Back 2 Back Pocket Aces... A curse? poker are you seriously asking if you should fold aces? haha this is hilarious.. give me pocket aces 10 times in a row and ill play it every single time.. yea it might get cracked once or twice but its still the best starting hand...you'd be a fool to lay it down...

Lol, funny thread. I'd never fold aces pre-flop, haha, if that's what you're asking. But I have had strings of 5-6 hands where I got hands such as A A, then K Q, then K J, then KK, etc. Very excited when that happens but it's followed by a dry spell of cards. Perhaps computer algorithms say that my "luck" ran out?
