| Alternatives for tight agressive play in tournaments? I want to know if any of you have tried with succes an alternative way to play multi table torunaments. I don't mind playing conservative but i feel more comfortable in a more participating style. It's possible to do well playing a loose agresive style in low limit tournaments? |

| It's possible to do well with any style. If you feel like you can outplay your opponents postflop, then you should play LAG (assuming you are equally good at all styles). Just a comment - if you know how to read your opponents, any style can be profitable... it's just what is most profitable that counts. |

| End Game Strategies -- what to do past the bubble? I can semi-consistently get ITM in micro MMTTs. I play tight semi-aggressive with typical call % around 15%. It seems like I can hit the money but end up blinding and anteing out. What do I do in end-game situations where I am already in the money in say a 3000 player micro. |

Focus on making good decisions. It's a mistake to raise with a weak hand if the ONLY reason your are raising is so you can pretend you are Gus Hansen. It's also a mistake to miss out on a steal because you're too busy playing tight. If your table thinks you're tight because you haven't been playing many hands then loosen up a little and take some shots. If you've been getting good cards and winning lots of pots w/out showdowns then people might be suspicious and more willing to look you up. So, tighten up for a little while. It's much more profitable to be aware of how your table thinks you are playing than to be focused on trying to be a TAG or LAG. Bruce Lee man, be Bruce Lee. |
