Seriously, consider playing a tight overall game and then raise in the button or sb if every1 has folded to you, if they call, be ready to fold. If they fold, be happy |

| My strategy has always been to just push when I have cards that I feel will hold up in a given position. I never wait until my last full BB because then you have no choice of what cards to play, you just have to push with whatever you have left. Like ellisman said, play tight until you're in the right position to push. |

| re: all in on short stack!!!!!!! poker When your shortstacked, your only weapon is all in. So, going all in with any pocket pair, Ace-x , K-x would be a good move. Also, when you have position, going all in regardless of the hand wouldn't be a bad move either (to steal the blinds). |

but its a mythical hand in texas holdem, so dont believe people when they tell you that they have a flush in the pocket! ive been bluffed out of many pots that way before. |

| Kinda like P-Pool I thought And yes, you gotta push some ??? hands when you get down under 10 BB. The hands mentioned above and yes 2 suited cards, hopefully w/high card value. It's also important WHO you push into and WHEN . Sometimes you're 90% sure to take the pot, other times it may be the opposite. goldog |
