all in every hand tournament? has any one ever played in an everyone allin all the time tournament? i think it would be interesting to just sit back and watch and not have to make any decisions...a turbo tournament...10 cent buy in? they have duplicate poker for those who want to match skill vs skill.. why not luck vs luck? it would have to be more fun than playing slots....maybe have increasing levels???? so you get to play more than one hand? ive been at some wild cash tables where everyone(except me,the nit) was going in for 5 dollars a pop it was fun to see some crap hands win(and the fpps were great!) - ok all in everyhand or everyone in everyhand or BOTH!???

I played in a tournament tonight with more than 90 players that was just the opposite. It was a HORSE tournament and everybody sit out. It took about 5 and a half hours to finish. The organizer only allowed those that he knew and trusted to play. On the first hand one player playing two other games at the same time made the mistake and bet, but said sorry right away and that was the only time anybody did it. It was loads of fun with everybody just sitting there chatting and having a good time.

Try one of those Supra Turbo SNG's on Full Tilt. They are very similar to all in or folds. I play them tight and play position aggressive. I cash more often than not. I won't play more than three a night though. More often than not it seems that the river determines the winner. That's why I like making sure I have other tight players at the table. They don't seem to go all in preflop I use the color codes to rate them. They have $3.50 + $0.30 pays: $15.75 for 1st $9.75 for 2nd $6.30 for 3rd $7.00 + $0.50 $31.50 for 1st $18.90 for 2nd $12.60 for 3rd $14.00 + $1.00 $63.00 for 1st $37.80 for 2nd $25.20 for 3rd The all-in or fold tournaments are fun though and when used as a learning aid can be educational.

*looks for high five* But seriously. Imagine 90 people. 9 tables. All in first hand. Most likely 9 people left. 2 hands to possibly win a tournament. And with 900 people it'd be so fun if you got far. |

I play a number of private tournaments at Full Tilt with poker bloggers. Some are broadcast. Sometimes the broadcaster will announce which public FT SNG tournament we will try to fill with as many poker bloggers as possible -- usually one that only costs a minimal number of FT frequest player points. We get as many in the SNG as possible, and the internal contest is that you have to go all in every hand. Last blogger standing gets $5 sent to him/her from all the other bloggers who were in the tourney. It is actually a kind of fun diversion, but certainly not +EV.

A few years ago Ultimate Bet had a really major site problem. No one was able to play on the site but alot of the tables had 2 players on them just playing on auto. Every hand both player went all in. The really strange thing was that not one of these tables I watch ever had a winner. They just went back and forth for several hours until they shut it down. Watching all those tables like that really made me wonder how legit all of these online sites are.

that does sound interesting if you are a crazy gambler. I think that the reason people pick poker though is the fact that there is a lot of skill involved with it. If it was just the luck it would be bingo with cards. I have played tourneys that i thought was a game of bingo because everyone called every raise preflop but, that is part of low limit play and freerolls and it always calms down once half the field is gone. I would try it if it were low limit though. It would be a good format for a crazy shootout or something. hopefully i see something like that soon so i can try.

All in of fold? Freerolls only, I am one of those who believe when playing for 15 for 5 hours, that I want chips asap. So the first usually two rounds of blind if I think I have a chance I will call an all-in. However I only bet all-in with premium hands. I figure get beat by a donk right away or get donked later. So I play crazy then play normal.

re: all in every hand tournament? poker yes it would be entertaining ...but this is not poker and frankly makes me sick to think somone would want to do this for real....i mean it is making a game about skill into a game about luck....no limit hold em take some luck but i feel it is mostly skill....and proper decision making.
