| Aggressive opening pay off Just watched player DanielK79 bet 520 preflop in a Party sng step game. Two others took the bait, the flop showed nothing overly intimidating. DanielK79 then went all-in and the opponents folded. I am left wondering if this was an aggressive opening move by an experienced player or just a fellow donk running amok? EDIT: DanielK79 sucked out as first player. Kept getting himself in impossible bets and calling them to the end. Last guestimate was the right one. I still kind of like the gutsy start... | There is really no way to tell. Watching the guy for several more hands is the only tell you can get. My guess here is that he was FOS. If he has a real hand, he plays it more standardly, figuring he will make more. If he is bluffing completely, like with 23o, then he can always lay it down. If he has a huge hand AA, KK I would think he would want to keep folks in it so he could make the max. But these are just conjectures without any reads. |
