Advice on this specific tournament
I’m playing in this freeroll later in the week:
Event: Texas Hold'em (No Limit) Starting Chips: 4,500 Blinds Duration: 20 minutes unless otherwise stated (Antes may be introduced) Blinds: 25 - 50 (25 minutes) 50 - 100 (25 minutes) 75 - 150 (25 minutes) 100 - 200 (25 minutes) 150 -300 200 - 400 300 - 600 400 - 800 500 - 1000 1000 - 2000 1500 - 3000 2000 - 4000 Prize Payout: 1st PRIZE: €4,000 2nd PRIZE: €3,000 3rd PRIZE: €2,000 4th PRIZE: €1,000 As the prizes don’t increase too much as you move up from 4th to 1st place would it be a good idea to sit back if I reach a certain situation and just try to get 4th? And in what situations would I be able to do this? |
