| Ace flush draw in PLO This is a problem I have struggled with for a long time and I cant work out if the way I play this hand is correct? If I am dealt Ah 10h 9c 7s and the flop is Js 6h 4h I have the nut flush draw, do I want to make a small raise and wait to see if I hit the flush on the turn, cos if I do hit the flush on the turn anyone with trips or a straight draw will probably fold, or should I get as much money in after the flop on the hope of getting a caller and the hope of hitting my flush when my odds of hitting the flush are less than 50%. For a long time I was getting all my money in but these days I tend to just make a pot sized raise. I know it depends on if I have a pair or if the flop is co-ordinated but generally which way would you play the nut flush draw post flop? |

| Position is key here i think. If you are in position you can raise to see if you can take the pot there and if you get called, then you will likely get a free card. I wouldn't do it all the time though because once you turn over the flush observant people will re-raise you and then you're left in between a rock and a hard place. Just make sure that you are also raising with made hands in the same situations too just to keep em guessing. |
